CADDi launched a pioneering 3D CAD-based procurement platform, seamlessly connecting buyers and suppliers with an automated quoting system focused on sheet metal.
2018
Transition to 2D Drawing Technology
Recognizing that the most of the design data utilized in supply chain and procurement operations were 2D drawings, CADDi commenced the development of pioneering 2D analysis technology.
2019
Reached 5,000 Customers and Started Assembly
Reached a milestone of over 5,000 global customers. CADDi introduced assembly services, handling orders of up to 10,000 components per equipment.

Global Inspection Centers Expansion
CADDi invested in more than 10 inspection centers globally, emphasizing quality in a wide array of parts such as sheet metal, machining, casting, wire harnesses, and assemblies.

Yushiro Kato
Co-founder and CEO
Yushiro previously worked for McKinsey & Company, where he co-led the procurement sector for the manufacturing industry. He supported large manufacturers in Chicago, Milwaukee, New Jersey, and more. In November 2017, he founded CADDi with the mission to “unleash the potential of manufacturing.” In 2023, Yushiro was selected as one of the top 10 entrepreneurs by Forbes.
Akifumi Kobashi
Co-founder and CEO
Aki completed his bachelors and masters in engineering at Stanford University. After four years of building data processing systems at Lockheed Martin in coordination with NASA and JAXA, Aki joined Apple to work on mobile products including the iPhone. Later on, he worked as a senior engineer on the development of embedded products such as the Airpods. Co-founded CADDi in late 2017. Selected as “30 under 30” by Forbes in 2019.
