Established in 2005, based on the high-level product processing of Japan technology for electric power companies, we have been engaged in the equipment parts and Busduct business, from manufacturing, assembly, painting to fine coating. Nissin Electric Vietnam Co.,Ltd (NEV) always do our best to meet the customers’ expectation in punctual delivery and Japanese quality – Vietnamese price product.
NEV was facing the following dual missions:
- (1) optimizing current production system to ensure quality stabilization while
- (2) diversifying product portfolio and scaling up production capacity at the same time.
Fortunately, solution like CADDi Drawer came timely.
Insightful Analysis – Key Problem Identification
Through collaboration with the CADDi Drawer team, NEV identified a key management problem: our manual drawing management system limited our ability to utilize past data and hindered cross-functional collaboration.
NEV’s operations are divided into various functional departments, including Sales/BD, Engineering, Procurement, QC, and Production. However, this structure does not provide an integrated data platform, each department often controls the drawings in their own way. Thus, CADDi Drawer is a well-fit solution for NEV as it offers digitalization of technical drawings, which are relevant to all departments across the value chain.

1. Project management view – simple but powerful searching
Managing multiple projects simultaneously often required managers to open and close numerous files to locate and review technical drawing details. With CADDi Drawer, this process has been greatly simplified. This digitalization of drawings, combined with the integration of relevant data, ensures that all departments are aligned and have access to the same information when working on new projects. Additionally, the display settings can be customized to highlight the most relevant information, making the system adaptable to the specific needs of each user.

2. Production/QC team – ‘similarity search’ is a powerful feature facilitates production planning

CADDi Drawer employs a unique algorithm to facilitate searches for similar drawings with the text & shape analysis, the production team now are able to see the top similar drawings ranked from most to least as we scroll down. When comparing those drawings, the difference will be highlighted in yellow to help us detect & control all data efficiently.
3. Quotation team – search function shortening quotation lead time
With the system’s advanced search functions, including similarity search, image search, and keyword search, users can quickly retrieve relevant information about comparable drawings with minimal effort. This feature proves particularly valuable for accessing older quotations, as it eliminates the reliance on memory or manual file searches, especially in cases where the person in charge (PIC) may have changed or lacks familiarity with previous projects. By streamlining the process of finding and referencing similar drawings, the system greatly enhances efficiency, allowing users to prepare accurate quotations in a fraction of the time previously required.

Since our establishment in 2005, based on the high-level product processing technology that we have developed over many years in Japan for electric power companies, we have been engaged in equipment parts business and busduct business.
In March 2020, the renovation of the 1st and 3rd factory was completed, and production capacity was significantly increased. We started a Fine Coating business in April 2020, and started a new Electrogalvanizing business in December 2024, aiming for further expansion in the future.
